EmergeNYC Residency - Brooklyn Arts Institute

As a participant in the Brooklyn Arts Exchange (BAX) program, I engaged in a dynamic residency that emphasized the intersection of art, identity, and activism. BAX provided a collaborative space where I could explore performance as a medium for social change, working alongside artists from diverse backgrounds to push creative boundaries. Through workshops, feedback sessions, and public performances, I refined my artistic voice, using it to challenge norms and highlight queer narratives. This experience reinforced my belief in the power of art as a tool for community connection, empowerment, and advocacy.
